I've always had this problem. Ever since I built this computer. Everything I've looked up online has given me software\applications have been the problem. That can't be tje problem as I have not installed any software. Can this bsod be a hardware issue? Bios?

Hello something.

Look at the How To Ask For Help link in my sig, and give us some more info. You need to help us help you.

What exactly are you getting? Whats the stop code? When does it happen? OS? Specs?

Sorry this took so long to reply. No internet.

Anyways, I would log in to my computer like normal, sometimes it would give me the bsod right away saying REGISTRY_ERROR STOP: 0X00000051 (0X000000000000000001, 0XFFFFF88000033010, 0X000000000000000E26000, 0X00000000000000368)
Other times it would log in just fine but 15 seconds later the bsod would come up.

The OS is 64 bit vista home premium.

Specs are:

This has happened in the past also. I have nothing else installed on this computer but the bare essentials. I've installed nothing but the drivers for the components. Which is why I think it's a hardware issue. But what hardware could be causing this problem and what can I do to fix this?

Edit: It WILL run in safe mode.

My Computer

It runs in Safe Mode? Ok try this: boot into safe mode, and search "MSConfig" no quotes. This is a boot settings manager. Select "Diagnostic Boot" and restart.

Does it work?

No sir, it did not work. Still gives me the BSOD.

I've been reading up on this problem and I've been seeing that RAM can be the cause of it. Can I switch the ram in the ither slots or am I doomed into buying completely new ram?

You have dual channel memory, ensure they are in the correct slots.
Also ensure the memory timings are correct on your BIOS.

Verify memory bus is set properly for your CPU. Make sure your RAM voltages are set on your motherboard properly. Make sure your RAM is in the correct slots for dual channel. Download memtest86 and test each stick one at a time and then all sticks for 24 hour run. If it passes with no errors, you set the RAM correctly.

    SAS RAID
Refer to your motherboard manual and reset your BIOS to its defaults. Normally in this setting, the memory timings are read from the modules themselves, and they are known as the SPD (Serial Presence Detect) settings.

Assuming that your memory modules are configured as following:
Mod A - Slot 1 and Mod B - Slot 2

Try swapping modules around, i.e. A-2 and B-1
One module at a time - check in both slots.

Duel channel memory has to be run in pairs so running one at a time will not work correctly.

U may try resetting your bios.

To reset them there is probably a jumper on your motherboard or you can take an easier root instead of finding that. Turn off the computer then unplug it then hit the power button again to drain any power left in the system (this is necessary because we want there to be no power to hole the settings in the flash memory) then you will find there is a round watch-like battery on the motherboard take it out and leave it out for a few minutes so that all the settings are deleted. Then pop ther battery back in shut the case plug it in and try booting up.

Hope this will help.

:)

It started at first and didn't have any problems but I couldn't do anything but then I realized I did the diagnostic boot so I switched thatback to normal and that's when I had problems. What is causing my computer to do this? What is not running in safe mode that causes it to not crash? I'm all for a reinstall I just want to know if its a hardware issue.

My Computer

when you boot go into the bios and leave it there for a while.
If it does not crash then it sounds like a software issue.
The initial issue was a registry problem so this points towards software, try a compleate reinstall if you have time and report your findings.
