Solved Desktop folder not able to delete

i need some help with a folder. ive tried deleting it but vista doesnt say anything and the folder just stays there. ive tried restarting my computer and it still doesnt work. I can't rename it or anything. when i made the folder i did alt+2+5+5 on the numpad. I need help because this is frustrating

What is the folder? what error do you get?

and have you tried killing the folder's process (control/alt/delete), and then deleting it?

try a system restore to a date/time before you created it.
It is possible you corrupted Window somehow, and have lost the ability to perform Admin tasks (like deleting files/folders)

It is possible you corrupted Window somehow, and have lost the ability to perform Admin tasks (like deleting files/folders)



i just fixed. i right clicked on it and clicked on browse with IrfanView and i was able to rename it and after i renamed i deleted:D thanks for your help;)
