any way of recovering music and video files after reinstaling os and my hardrives got wiped

Hi arsehley,

You should be able to recover files even fter a quick format. You will not be able to recover any that have been overwritten , however.

ive used tuneups recovery tool but didnt find nothing /.
but ill give this a go

Some apps. don't work after a format - those do, as you can see.

There is one here that may also be useful - takes a very long time - try Recuva and Pandora first.

i left my computer on last night leaving the deep scan on but it got to 7% pretty fast and was still stuck on there this morning ill give the otherones a go

edit.. im sure its finding the media files because it was at 0% and had found 5000+ files .not my main c drive neither and i only keep media on that disk .fingers crossed lol
