cpu usage

When I look in task manager my cpu usage usually stays around 5-15 usage. But If I look right as I open task manager it jumps to like 94% then goes back to 5-15. Is that normal to happen as you open a program like ie, or task manager?

I suppose so. Mine jumps to 41% before going back to 2%.

I just tried process explorer ( more intuative version of task manager andd It doesnt show nearly as much cpu usage when I do things. Task manager is sensative. I can run the mouse around fast and cpu usage will go up> huh

Yeah, it is a bit sensitive.

You can also look in the Resource Monitor under the CPU section to see more details on exactly what is using the CPU.
