Vista - Help removing !

Hi everyone .

Can someone please help.
I have an acer pc and everytime it boots i get this really annoying acer drop down window that comes from the top centre of my monitor and i need to know how do i get rid of it ..i know you go to the start up progs window but i dont know what it is called so i can un check it .

Ok..if that wasnt clear enough then how about this then....that is a picture of the acer window that comes from the top centre of my screen everytime i turn my Pc on...

Does anyone know what it is called so i can go into start up progs and disable it

I would just uninstall the program myself

is that what it is called ?? if so where do i find it to u/install it ??

Go to remove programs under control panel>Programs
remove edatasecurity management

its not in my un/install/remove progs buddy ?

You dont see this under installed Programs?

Acer eDataSecurity Management

You can also disable it from startup in msconfig
look for this: "eDataSecurity\x86\eDSLoader.exe"

Hi buddy No it is not in my remove progs and the other one is not in my start up list either

IS it the ACER EMPOWERING TECHNOLOGY and if i uninstall it will it effect anything else ?

and in my start up progs there is an Acer empower sysmonitorexe and an Acer empower currentversion /run So dont know which one to un/check
