Computer Shutdown Problem

I recently got a new computer and everythings runs great except for one problem. Whenever I play Zoo Tycoon 2, my computer will randomly shutdown without warning. Its like watching TV and someone comes up and yanks out the powercord, it just clicks off without warning. It only happens when playing that game, and it seems to be at random times. Sometimes it will happen within two minutes of the program running, and other times it will last 30-60 minutes before it clicks off. Again, its the whole computer itself shutting off, not just the game. I've tried several different things suggested on the Microsoft support site such as updating drivers, starting the computer in safe clean mode, uninstalling and re-installing in safe clean mode, running the game in compatability mode, but none of these have worked. I have wondering if anyone has had (or heard of) similiar problems and if anyone has any suggestions on how to fix it. Some info on my system:
Windows Vista Home Premium Edition
Duo T6600 2.20GHz processor

4.00 GB RAM (2.52 Available memory)

Not exactly a tech savy person, any help is greatly appreciated.

If it is new, I would return it to the store, or contact support and tell them that the system has a hardware failure, and randomly, and consistantly powers itself off during Processor Intensive use.

If you are saying the whole pc just powers off by itself. Then I suspect you have a big problem not related to the game. Hardware failure issue.

Maybe Powersupply or Overheating (usually in overheating the system will shut itself off to prevent damage)
PSU issues can cause damage to the Motherboard and processor.

I had exactly the same problem when I was playing Red Baron II, I found that it was the NoCD crack for some reason???

But I am using 64bit OS, and you are not, right?
