Is My PC Ok Or Not??

Hello,

I just received my new PC running Vista 64 OS. Unfortunately it was sent with the wrong video card driver configuration and I experienced a lot of crashes. After hours working with tech support, everything is now working well.

In order to fix my problems I had to do a complete re install of my Vista 64 OS and I had to reinstall my drivers.

Everything is working great, but an issue has come up.

I installed Norton System Works 2009 and ran Disk Doctor. I was shown the attached error message. Clicking Yes shows a message that the error could only be fixed by running a low level format.

I went into Disk Management for Vista and every disk I have reads "healthy". I continued to run Disk Doctor and it found no problems with my disks.

My question to the forum is should I worry about this error message from Disk Doctor at all?

Thanks,

Michael R

Try running the Vista Diagnostic. Even though the disk is marked as healthy, it may contain NTFS file corruption or bad disk sectors. scan for and try to fix these issues or it may result in data loss.

Vista includes a disk health check [generate a system health report]( checks for SMART early warning disk failure and logical disk dirty bit)
