I could be wrong here, but I think there are prerequsites needed in order to create a SP2 slipstream.

Depending on the version of Vista you are using, an easier way is to install Vista sp1, download all updates and SP2, then image the hdd with the Vista complete pc backup and restore or paragon disk imaging.

Here is a tutorial for slipstreaming vista:

When you load SP1 into vLite there is no box for you to slipstream it with SP2.

Currently there is no way to create an actual slipstreamed DVD using SP2. It is being worked on according to what I've gleaned using a Google search.

No,you wrong. There is way >>Slipstream Windows Vista Service Pack 1 - HelpWithWindows.com

This method work for SP2 either and will work for future SP X,hotfixes and other things to integrate...

instead point 5 from above link:
To clear SP1 backup you have to use Compcln.exe
Run cmd.exe with administrative previlliges and type Compcln.exe

compcln.exe for SP2 is equivalent vsp1cln.exe for SP1

Re: Slipstream SP2

Compcln. is merely a cleanup tool and shouldn't make much difference to the actual making of a slipstreamed DVD, except to reduce the final size of the image.

Good luck trying, I don't think you will succeed.

If it was possible there would already be a sticky on it in our Tutorials.

I live in the UK and your talking about $80 in your money...

& compcin.exe is quite correct.

You need to do the tutorial first, then redo with SP2, then run compcin.exe, then back to the tutorial.

Re: Slipstream SP2

I think it wont be too long before someone else comes up with a solution. The maker of vlite has already stated that it does not work with SP2 so don't even try, and he is nowhere near making a new version that is compatible. Compcln is merely a cleanup tool that cleans up older stuff that is no longer needed once the process is almost completed.
So I advise people to just be patient.

Re: Slipstream SP2

...then back to the tutorial then commit suicide as it takes so long! Then once you have commited suicide ask God does this work as i cannot get Ultra Iso to work...
I can sure you this kind of victim is really unnecessary. There exist people in the world which never use vLite for slipstreaming and can do much more difficult operations - I suggest to visit MSFN.org where you meet guys which are the best in this field.
Windows vista service pack 2 is out - MSFN Forums

back to your thread:
Although you cannot use vLite to integrate SP2,you can use this tool instead UltraISO.If you have only trouble with UltraISO (new Install.wim is preapared, point 7 from link which gave you in my previos post is already done) you can use vLite to burn DVD
