Hello I have recently inherited two very old computers and i was looking for any suggestions as to what i can do with them. Here are their specs: 366 MHz Intel Pentium 32 Mb Ram Graphics Card Maximum is True Color at 1024x768 An ethernet port. 5 Gb HDD. I there anything useful I could use them for ? For Example, it was suggested to me that I boost the HDD capacity, connect it to the tv and turn one into some kind of media server for my home where i could store videos, music, etc... What can old, slow computers be used for in general ?

It would be lousy at rendering video for TV output and will have ata33 drive size limitations of 120gig at the most.

You could maybe use it as a router/firewall with a Linux distro or a doorstop :sarc:

Lol.. The firewall idea sounds useful... But hasn't anyone seriously considered what to do with archaic computers ? I'm sure i'm not the first person to have this issue. Are we all doomed to have old technology gathering dust in the garage somewhere ?
