I have a Mesh computer, AMD Athlon 64x2 dual core processor 4200+ 2.21 Ghz
4 Gb Ram, 32 bit Vista home premium.
The C drive is SATA 320 Gbs and I recently put in 2x Samsung HD 753LJ 750 Gb SATA Hard drives which are designated drive D and H.
They have both been formatted as NTFS and initialised and show up in Disc management and set up on Boot.
My problem is, every time I try to copy any thing from either the C drive to these new drives or the D to the H or vice versa or try to back up my C to the D using Acronis, My computer freezes after a short period of time and I have to to a reboot without shutting down.
I then look in the set up by pressing the delete button while rebooting and either the D or H drives are missing depending on which drive I was trying to write to.
If I shut down completely and boot up again, the drives are both recognised.
I have copied some folders on to H a short while ago but now no joy.
These drives were only installed in February 2009.
Can anyone please help.
