What's the deal with my Start button?

If you will notice in the first image I have moved my taskbar to the right of the screen but my Start button does not move from the lower left position. In fact whenever my Start button has "Start" spelled out I cannot move it with the taskbar no matter where I move it on the desktop even autohide doesn't hide it. From a fresh boot my Start button is normal but during the day this anomaly will occur. This morning upon a fresh boot when all was normal i clicked Start to open the menu and then clicked Start again to close the menu and the Start button immediately changed to having "Start" spelled out with it's attendant other anomaly.
Why?

I think I have found the problem. The culprit appears to be a transparency program I use called Glass2K. After booting up the computer and Not running Glass2K the problem is gone and i cannot reproduce it as before by clicking the Start button twice in succession.
I believe the issue is resolved.
