I read something on another forum about if you are using x86 and want to upgrade to x64 you can use the same key to activate both . Any truth in that at all ? I have OEM and not boxed retail.

Solved X64 question.

Yes, you can use your activation key for both. However to install 64bit version you need disc with Vista x64. Sometimes OEM discs have x86 version of Vista only.
