| Vista home premium service pack1 32 bit op. sys. | Re: user profile service failed.... HELP Can't do system restore shows no restore points pre-virus.....After stuffin round with regedit and turning in-built admin on and turning UAC off I now can log onto my profile in safemode but now I am getting "Group policy client service failed logon. Access denied" and can't login with either admin or my user to norm windows...ARGHHHH... Okay in safe mode under my own profile I finally could add a new user Iadded one guest and one other with admin privleges I then turned UAC off... now whith administrator and my old user I get Group policy client serice and I am given a temp. profile, with guest and my new admin I get user profile service service failed login. | Vista x64 Ultimate SP2, Windows 7 Ultimate x64 | Re: user profile service failed.... HELP Manda, I would recommend that you back anything that you do not want to lose if able, and do a clean reinstall.  |
