Hello i have vista home premium 32bit OS , this has been happening for a week now , i boot my pc up get to were it shows boot menu and bios menu and its comes to a black screen saying

Verifying DMI POOL DATA..........update success

A disk read error has occured

Press ctrl+Alt+Del to restart

ok i do that and it repeats the same process , sometimes it will boot up fine , run all day normal and the next day i boot up and goes back to the verifying dmi pool. Ill be surfing the web or just run world of warcraft and BLAH! it freezes , simetimes a blue screen will come up and say something about a memory dump. But ive asked some ppl was it could be , possibly a dying HD? or my OS is screwed up, im not sure , but can any of u think of wat could be the problem or have some solutions , that would be awsome , cause im on the border line of just buying a new HD and OS , btw i dnt have my OS that came with my pc and its not ever a yr old hardly , but if someone can help out or give some kinda info that would be awsome!! TYVM!!
