Is this possible?

I basically want all of my startup things to load, and then allow me to do stuff on the computer, as in the computer loads Vista and logs on, and once it is logged onto the desktop I usually have to wait for everything to load up, my extra things I have installed before I can do anything, well I can do things, but it is just slow, is there some way to get those things to load before I am able to do anything

please ask if you don't know what I mean! Thanks

no mate unfortunately not , all yuor startup items start to load up only after windows , there is no way around this , you can get all services to delay and startup a little later but thats it.

All i can suggest is turn on your pc 10 minutes before you need to use it then vista will have done its loading and superfetch will have finished ;)

if it is really that much of an issue you can set your pc to "go to sleep" instaed of shutting down when you turn it off , it goes into sort of low power mode everything is essentially trned off but vista keeps a cache of everything stored and its pretty much ready straight away :)
