Hello,
My computer recently had several problems and I found no way to solve them so im down to my last resort; return this computer to how it was new. Is the recovery drive the drive i'm going to get when I wipe the hard drive? if so, can I put 950mb worth of files on this "recovery (D)" disk drive?
Thanks in advance

Not quite. You will need an external HDD, or a large flash to store your files and settings on. You can use DVDs too (see the Backup and restore center).

The recovery partition is a disk image only. To revert to that, go into the Backup and Restore Center, and select Restore from disk image, then select the one that is in the D drive.

Depends on how the "D" drive is set up....If you have the additional space with the recovery files installed there. It would help it you told us what the space on the drive was with the recovery contents installed.
