Desktop icons away!

Hello!

I'm German, so I'm sorry, if my english is not very well...

I've a problem with my Icons on my Desktop.
As you see in the screenshot, the icon for my documents folder is not the icon i want to have.
So i wanted to change it in the "Desktopsymboleigenschaften", but there are no icons, which i could change. They are away! Why???

@Ardneh: Its the main folde "Eigene Dateien" where you can find the folders music, movies, documents etc in it. Its not a folder in it, which has no icon! So this method doesn't help!

@brummyfan: This method also doesn't help. sorry...

What happens when you put a check mark in Benutzerdateien and
click on Wiederherstellen and Ubernehmen?

Also does clicking on the Anderes Symbol button bring up a window
full of icons to choose from?

Basti:

There may be a simple solution to this.

Create a new User Account,then see if the missing icons are present in the new
account's Desktop Icons Setting window.

If they are present in the new account,you can transfer your personal files
to the new account and delete the old account.

Ok, that sounds really good.
I've created a new account and yes, the missing icons are present.

But how can I transfer my personal files to the new account?

I would copy them to writable DVD. Then copy from the DVD to the folder in your new account. That way you've done both the transfer and a backup at the same
time.

There probably is a way to do that,but it might bring the problem with it.
Better make them anew.
