re: help - Explorer crashing

I recommend that you switch to the Firefox web browser.

Probably. Perhaps it is an isolated event and won't happen again.

Firefox is a free download. I've used it for years.

re: help - Explorer crashing

You can try reinstalling it. That may or may not help. You can try upgrading to IE8.. .but don't try that just eyt.

I know sometimes you NEED IE to do things. For example tohere's a game that NEEDS IE to launch, not firefox, not Opra, IE.

Have you trid reinstalling it? When did this first start happening? Do you think restoring to an earlier date would help?

Re: help - Explorer crashing

Go to Start and type in "iexplore -extoff" (without the quotes) and press Enter
This will launch Internet Explorer without the add-ons loaded.
Use this browser to surf to the places that usually give you this error.
If you don't get the error, then you can assume that it's one of your add-ons causing this.

To fix that, close that Internet Explorer and open one in the normal way. Then go to Tools...Manage Addons and disable them one-by-one until you find the one causing it.
