ServiceHang

In my Problem and Solutions report I keep getting this ServiceHang repot (Snapshot enclosed). I deleted 67 of them and it seems I get one or two a day. It does not effect the performance of my computer however it is like a bug you want to get rid of. I think it's something to do with the HP digital program but not for sure. The service name is hpqddsvc with Bucket ID: 203106892 if that helps.

william gunkel:

Another suggested fix for this is to click on the Start orb and type

msconfig, then at the top of the left pane click on msconfig.

In the Startup tab uncheck anything HP. Click Apply and OK.

Restart your computer and see if things are fixed.

Thanks Ardneh, I followes the instructions but still getting the service hang reportr on start up. Copy enclosed. I might try the remove program but I don't want to lose my printer. I have 13 HP programs but I will check to see which ones I can remove.

Got the issue solved by clicking on Start then type in services, which will appear under Progams. Once there go to HP CUE DeviceDiscovery Service. Double click and on the General tab change it from automatic to manuel. Click apply and then ok and it should take care of the problem, at least it did for me.
