When my computer is loading up at the desktop screen a message comes up saying Error loading c:\windows\system32\hetirika.dll

I looked up hetirika.dll and found out it's a trojan/backdoor. I can't find it in Windows>System32 either. Any ideas on what this means?

Set your Folder View options to show hidden files and protected operating system files. Open Task Manager > Process tab > Show for all users' look for heterika.

U should be happy, because somehow your system managed to delete the hetirika.dll. Now the infection trying to load the dll but it cannot.

What u have to do is, open regedit, right click on hklm and find hetirika.dll and postt the results here..

I did what both of you guys said and nothing was found with either one. Should I just be happy it can't load and just leave it or is there something I can do to make this message stop appearing?

The two threads you have open are related and would better be in the Security forum.

Best Wishes.

This link will help u in removing the program from startup.

Examine the registry keys, if u find any entry related to that dll delete the entry
