Hey Guys,
I realise this may not be a fix for everyone, but this has worked on more than one occasion that i've come across this..
If you are getting this error message and you've ran through the normal HD tests, and everything is coming out fine..
(this will blow your mind)
Go and empty your C:/Users/yourusernamehere/AppData/Local/Temp folder of everything that you can.. just do a mass delete and skip any system files..
Voila.. You have a working machine again.. I dont know whether this is a bug, or what caused it.. But everything's ship shape here now..
I know that i'll be clearing that out more often from now on.. That was the first time i'd cleared it in a year and a half at least.
