Heya everyone

Iv been having trouble with my laptop 4 a while
It decided that a whole heap of registry files were going to go bye bye randomly, and now i get error messages all the time ( very annoying )

Now me being a silly person, i don't have any system restore points. So system restore is not an option :(

My question is this then... Is there a way to restore vista ( and my entire laptop ) back to its original state i.e. as it came out of the box

My computer specs are under my profile but il list the brief specs below

Toshiba A200 PSAF6A
Windows Vista Ultimate 32bit

I'm sure that something can be done to improve the situation.

So, what do you have to work with for doing a reinstall of Vista?
Vista install discs, recovery partition, both, none-of-the-above?

Yes, their is, luckily :D I have done that 1'ce to my lappy :) And im glad to say it fixed it all. Here is how:

1. Go to your start orb-ish thing
2. Type in : Recovery Manager
3. If necessary do the UAC thing
3. Hit next
4. It will ask a software recovery Hit yes and then next
5. Im not sure what is after that, but it's pretty easy to follow man :D
6. You can make back-up files if u wanna too
7. Enjoy!
