Sd card

i wasnt really sure where to post this, anyway, my dog ate through the usb wire i had for my digital camera a while ago and i havent been able to find a replacement that fits the camera... i was wondering if there is anyway i can insert the sd card into my computer to upload the pictures? i have an amd athlon le-1640.

Hello Hiimbawbx, and welcome to Vista Forums.

If you have a media card reader installed on your computer and it supports that type of SD card, then yes you can place the SD card in the media reader to upload the pictures instead. :)

two things , post your camera make and model we may be able to track down a lead for you

If you have a card reader as Brink described you couldnt miss it it'll be a series of small slots (kinda sd card sized) on the front of your pc case it'll also be labelled up

I've got 3 digital cameras and got fed up with pulling out the right USB cable each time it came to download photos. So I got myself an all-in-one USB 2.0 multi-card reader, and it works like a charm every time. Thoroughly recommend them. And not too expensive either!
