Hey guys, been a LOONG time since I've been on the forum, very busy.

Now, I am about to order new mobo, cpu, ram and heatsink at newegg and have done some homework, but I've kinda rushed it, so just to make sure everything is compatible with my current stuff:

Current (supposed to stay in the system):
CM 690 case
PC P&C 750W PSU
XFX Geforce 9800GTX+ 512Mb
Samsung SP2504C 250Gb HDD (SATA)
Pioneer DVr-111D (IDE)
Soundblaster Audigy sound card

Current (supposed to be replaced):
Foxconn 6100K8MA mobo
AMD Athlon 64 4000+ cpu
4 Gb of DDR 400 memory

New stuff ($511,94 on newegg.com):
Asus Striker 2 Extreme nforce 790i ultra SLI
Q9550 2.83GHz 45 nM
Patriot 4Gb DDR3 memory
Xigmatek HDT-S1283
Coolermaster R4-L2S-122B-GP case fans

Okay, so let me know what you think about it and if there will be compatibility problems (which there shouldn't be, but u never know:))

Cheers,

Amplid

If I would be buying I would probably choose a 6GB kit of DDR3 seeing as the motherboard can fit 8GB, and I would probably go with Core i7, but that motherboard only supports quad, so overall a good choice.

Yes, maybe you're right about the memory, I'll see if I can get a good 6Gb deal. The core i7 is too expensive for the moment for me and the deal with the mobo and the q9550 is great, so I'm just gonna take it!;)

Thanks for replies all, check your UCP's;)
