hi iam starting to build a new system using the antec 902 case i have got 2 power supplys in mind the antec quattro 1000 or the corsair 1000

i now the antec power supply will fit no problem as fan is on the rear of the unit

it is the corsair as the fan is on the under side of the unit there 2 pic below

picture 2 is the one i would like to do if i go for the corsair due to cable managment but will i run in to heat problem doing it that way

Re: power supply

If the heat is not exhausted directly out of the case, I would definitely go with antec.

Re: power supply

Their literature -> Guaranteed to deliver its full 1000W output at 50șC operating temperature.

That's 122 degrees Fahrenheit.

** EDIT **
Sorry, that was for the Corsair. I should have mentioned that.

Re: power supply

As long as it's blowing out the back it should work just fine as in picture 2.

i was just asking if i could run the corsair power supply like in picture 2 as the fan is on the under side rather than being on the back of the unit
