| Vista Home Premium x64 | Re: Readyboost cache problem I am yet to have ReadyBoost really help me on other pcs. It has only helped once when I was playing Sims 3 because I had other stuff running in the background and that pc only had 2 GB RAM. Does it really act as RAM...or more of a system cache? I am still confused with that. If it acts as RAM, couldnt you just set the flash drive to be a drive for a page file? I meant wouldnt that be more efficient, for pretty much when you need more RAM, instead of accessing your HDD it is accessing the flash drive? Anyone have any insight on this? |
