Vista will only login in during safemode

Hi,

My Vista Laptop ( Toshiba A200 1.8ghz 2gb rAM) Will not login properly when using the full main windows. It crashes at various stages and cant get into task manager.

Have you installed and Devices/Driver's/updated recently?

If so Do a system restore with a Windows CD and Revert back to the last point that it was working (usually Updates create a backup before installing)

I have tried both with no sucsess i am able to use it in safe mode so i am transfering all my files onto the other computer. and doing a fresh install

If you have already planned to back up for a clean install, its good. However, i feel that a start-up item is causing this issue. You can click start>search>tpe msconfig and press Enter. In msconfig and under startup tab,click disable all items and restart the pc. Worth a try IMO.

I Had already done a backup before i got these other step. Reinstalled Fresh. Runs Better then it had ever had.
