Comdlg32.ocx

I don't know if that's compatible with a 64-bit operating system.

There is no 64 bit version of comdlg32.ocx. It's a 32 bit COM solution.

You can still register the ocx. For Vista Ultimate x64, you need to place
the Comdlg32.ocx in the \Windows\SysWOW64\ dir. you can then run "regsvr32
C:\Windows\SysWOW64\Comdlg32.ocx" and it will register the file.

The \Windows\System32\ dir is for 64 bit dlls only.

Thank you for the reply. I moved the COMDLG32.OCX to that file but when you say run, I don't know how to do that, How do I run it? Thanks.

open an elevated command prompt. then type:

c: regsvr32 C:\Windows\SysWOW64\Comdlg32.ocx

That should do it.

Lemme know how it goes...

The file that I have doesn't have a date or a version on it. It just says COMDLG32.OCX.

To find the date and size you right click the file>properties>details

Should look like this
