Lost Admin Password

I use an HP Touchsmart2 laptop running Windows Vista Ultimate, and until a few days ago I only used my fingerprint scanner to log in, so of course I have no idea what my password is. A few days ago, my computer went into sleep mode while it was downloading a new fingerprint scanner driver, so I can no longer use my fingerprint scanner to log in. I have no idea what my password is, my login is the only login for the laptop, and I am the admin, so there is no secret admin or whatever. The only laptop I have to assist me in retrieving or cracking my password is a MacBook Pro that I am unfamiliar with, so most of the cracking software I have tried to download won't work because I need to be able to use some sort of Windows components to get the software to run properly.

Any help from anyone who knows how to retrieve/crack passwords for THE ONLY admin on a Vista Ultimate laptop from a MacBook Pro would be extremely helpful and appreciated.
