Random BSOD's please help

Help I am running into random BSOD's on my vista 32 bit system. Sometimes it runs for days fine other times it will only run 5 minutes before it BSOD's on me. At first I thought it was my ram and after removing and replacing one stick it quit for a while, but now it is worse than ever. Please help me out.

Re: Random BSOD's please help

I will try but I am having difficult just getting it to boot up. I keep getting BSOD on boot up they all have different files listed though.

Well after many tried I can not even get vista to boot now. I have seen different errors and don't know what else to try.

Re: Random BSOD's please help

Do you have a Vista installation disk?
Can you start the computer up in Safe Mode (rapidly tap F8 just before the Windows Splash Screen shows up)?

Re: Random BSOD's please help

I have a system restore disk but when I try to load it up it BSOD's on me also, and I can't get it to start in safe mode, though when it would it would still Blue screen me.

Re: Random BSOD's please help

Well since I was unable to even boot I figured I would check and see if it was a hardware problem and believe it or not I unplug my dvd-rom and now I am not having any problems so far.

Re: Random BSOD's please help

Is your dvd-rom IDE or SATA?

Re: Random BSOD's please help

You are supposed to replace RAM in pairs.

Make sure you have paired ram (i.e. Same manufacturer is always a good idea.)
Also, make sure you arent over heating, that could always cause some problems.
