vista mouseover shows french translation!

Whenever i hover my mouse over any word be it on the web, in explorer or anywhere, a small blue balloon pops up with a capital A with magnifying glass in the corner then various meanings / translations in french, I DONT LIKE IT!

Can anyone help me to disable this feature please, it's getting me down!

thanks for the reply, but it is not the magifier function doing the highlighting, nor do i have any french languages installed. No recent software has been installed so I don't know what this function actually is!

any more ideas?

try going to language settings in control panel, and remove all but your country's language.
