Color Scheme problem

Hello there, I'm Rean and I'm experiencing some problems about the color scheme in my computer. I'm using Vista Home Premium for 2 years now. When I log in to my account user, the computer refreshed and then the whole settings about the appearance changed. I tried to fix it in windows appearance and when I looked in the choices, I can't find Windows Aero and Windows Home Basic.
I don't know why but it just disappeared when I logged in. I tried to restart my computer but nothing happens. It still doesn't appear.
Can someone help me with my problem?

Have you tried a System Restore to just before this happened?

System Restore is often used as a last resort, but if you have a recent restore date, and if you can't come up with any other solution that works, at least it can be a benign, unthreatening way to solve a problem. Just be sure to back up all your data prior to the Restore though. Very important to back up before any System Restore, (and before any new app download).

Did you re-run the WEI index?

Win+Pause/Break to open the system screen and see if it shows this:
wei.JPG
If you manually installed new video drivers or allowed Windows Update to install them, it sometimes resets the WEI index. Re-running the assessment should rectify it.

(provided that it's the issue)
