| Vista Home Premium 64 bit | Re: Clicking sound while scrolling Tested both safe mode and safe mode w/ network. While decreased, it is still there. I'm more and more convinced it's a motherboard interference issue. |

| Vista ultimate 32 | Re: Clicking sound while scrolling I asked a harddrive supporter and he said that some HDD even from the same brand could be more or less noisy when in working mode. But if that smooth scrool dident work then im out of clues. |

| Vista Home Premium 64 bit | Re: Clicking sound while scrolling Makes sense. I run Active Hard Disk Monitor in the background and everything checks out. I'll just leave it as a nuisance. |

| Vista ultimate 32 | Re: Clicking sound while scrolling There is another way to lower the HHD noise. Under controlepanel and administration there is a way to disable some windows aplications that runs pretty much always, and thats why your HHD react more noisy. But unless you dont know what each aplication does then i would not suggest that ![]() There is HDD index and some HHD scans of any sorts that runs. But it could make the system unstable or slower. But hey..if you want lower noise then go for it. |
