unable to get out of safe mode

please excuse me for writing in the wrong places. I have a black screen I have tried everything in safe mode nothing is working. I have no start up items in my start up. I cant get out of the safe mode. I know I was doing a scan using trend when I wanted to close it I hit closed and click on safe mode to close. I couldnt get it to stop so I deleted trend. Please I am really slow trying to figure alot of this stuff out I had brain surgery for an anersyum and my spelling isnt good because I cant get it reinstalled. One gentlemen wasnt nice about that. Please some one help me. Please I been at this for 8 hours and dont want to reinstall just got computer bACK.

when you boot up after your manufacturer screen (BIOS) and come to a blank screen, repeatedly press f2, and once the menu has come up, choose 'Start Windows Normally'
please tell us what happens.

when you boot up after your manufacturer screen (BIOS) and come to a blank screen, repeatedly press f2, and once the menu has come up, choose 'Start Windows Normally'

ok, that is ruled out. it is still doing that, so some vista files might be damaged. boot up to safe mode. in the start search, type in 'cmd', right click and press 'Run as Administrator'. once opened, type in 'scf/ scannow'. once it has completed, see if it has any results worth telling us.
if this command works and has detected and repaired damaged files, hopefully it will sort out the problem. to find out, reboot and after the bios press f8 again repeatedly, and choose start windows normally agin. if it still persists, please tell us :)
