Solved How to delete backup?

I want to delete the full PC complete backup from my C: drive now that I have an external drive, but cannot find it. Where does Vista put the backups on C:? How do I delete it?

Are you talking about backup images like taken with Vista Ultimate or recovery points that are stored in the shadowstorage?

right click on computer and click manage, in the left bar click disc management,right click the drive partition,click delete volume,after that right click again and click delete partition,then right click on any drive(the C:// drive)and click extend volume,then a windows will come up and click next until you finish

Since it probably is one of the biggest files on your computer try this:
WinDirStat - Free software downloads and software reviews - CNET Download.com

Open WinDirStat and let it scan your disk.

Once you see a few large squares, click on each one until you find something that looks like a backup. Click on it and it will shows it file tree. A file tree is like this:

C:\
+ Users
+Rahul (my name)
+Documents
Company Files
Important Presentation.pptx (which is represented by let's say... a blue small square)

There! I found my presentation for work!
