Help! Stored Copy/Paste Text???

Hello-

I have a very newbie style question, but nonetheless, I have exhausted a great deal of searching and small .exe add-ons in trying to solve this problem for myself. So...

My basic question is simply this: Does my Vista store copied (Ctrl C) text SOMEWHERE??? I know about the works/word/clip programs, but each one I open does not have a list of, for example, "the last 5 sets of text that were copy/pasted". Is there such a function or somewhere I can locate previously copied/pasted material. I have not shut down/restarted and I have only copied/pasted ONE item since I copy/pasted the original item that I now need...Sounds convoluted yes, but I essentially need to know if I can find these recent sets of copy/paste text?

Thanks!

As far as I know, Vista doesn't save anything but the most recent one -- and that is temporary. If it's saved at all, it would be in either the NotePad or WordPad (both located in Windows Accessories). So take a look at both of those functions to see if it's there.

The only other possibility is, if you're using MS Office 2007, the copied text could've been saved on your Clipboard (located in the Home section of your Ribbon).
