this is something I would possibly like to undertake. I purchased Native Instrument Komplete 6 and that is not compatible with 64 bit Vista.

I would very much like to use the software. I was wondering if there was a way to convert my system. one thing that is stopping me is the audio interface i am running I am using the beta driver provided by Presonus.

At either rate, please tell me if there is a way to accomplish this.

Thanks
Chris

Hi,

The only way to convert 64bit Vista to 32bit Vista is to do a clean install, losing all your programs and settings. I will think about and come back to you on whether it is possible to get Native Instrument Komplete 6 to work under 64bit. BTW, Vista 64bit and Vista 32bit require different install CDs and different lisence codes.

EDIT Have you looked at the KB Native Instruments, as I cannot access it.

Sorry,

Richard

A license is good for 32 or 64 bit platforms. The CD's are different. As a rule, if you buy a particular edition (Vista HP, for example), you will receive on key number and 2 DVD. You can change back and forth between 32 and 64 as many times as you like. But on only one computer at a time.

If you have a valid key, you can probably get the DVD from Microsoft for shipping cost plus a small mark up.
