system tray icons

Whenever i right-click the system tray and go to properties, customize and then go to hide so the icon of a program is hidden always it keeps appearing after the next reboot. the icon goes away initially but after reboot it comes back shown instead of hidden. Even when i go to properties, customize and click to hide it. The description still says hide when inactive after i click to another icon but when i click to hide it it stays on hide in the description but as soon as i click another icon the description goes back to hide when inactive but yet works and is hidden untill i reboot and then when i go to customize, it says hide when inactive?

this is only a problem with zemana antilogger system tray icon it doesn't do this with any other program icons

Hello hello2007.
Is there an option in the software itself to disable the icon ?. Check under tools/options/preferences to see if it can be disabled.
As this is an anti-logger piece of software, it may be designed into the software to keep an icon in the system tray.
A lot of security software does this, to ensure that you know it is running.
Not much help i know, but at least you know its running.
Good luck and keep us posted.

There's a difference between the 2 commands: "Hide when inactive" and "Hide." Have you tried using the "Hide" option rather than the "Hide when inactive" option?
