Hi David,
Recovering from the Recovery partition will return your computer to what it was when it came out of the factory. It will delete ALL programs and data. You MUST backup your data before hand. If you cannot boot Windows, then use a Linux Live CD to backup your data. When you are sure you want to go ahead with this,

- Switch off your computer
- Start it up again, and immediately as the Sony logo appears, press F10
- You should now get the option to recover your Windows, losing all data and programs.
- You may have to try a few times if you miss the Sony logo

Sorry for the late reply. Just to confirm, you have booted Windows (into your account?) and you recieve this message? Or can you not boot Windows at all. If you give me the full file and directory, then I can probably fix this issue.

I am able to open Windows OK. I have about 5 messages coming up which I have tried to delete with Revo Uninstaller, without success. If there was a way to add an attachment I have the messages in a Folder with screenshots of the messages. Are you able to contact me on my email? Regards, David

Hi,
If you go to the Quick Reply box and click "Go Advanced" OR click the orange "Post Reply" you will be taken to a completely new webpage. On this new webpage, just above where you can type, there is a paperclip icon. Click on this and either upload all five photos or zip up the photos and upload the zip file. Remember to click Upload not just close the window. If you do decide to, use 7-Zip to zip up the photos in zip format (not 7z). To be honest, just upload the 5 photos.

Go to: C:\Program Files\GreenPrint Technologies\GreenPrint World\ and see if gpprinternotify.exe exists. Reinstall or uninstall the application if you can.
Else, press the "Windows Key + R" to open the Run dialogue. Type "msconfig" and press enter. Go past the UAC prompt if necessary and under the Startup tab, make sure there is nothing to do with Green Print. If there is, uncheck it. This will probably fix the problem.

I have been thinking about this. Reinstalling Vista should solve the problem. The message looks like a Windows own. This mean that I think something is trying to run the program, but not quite like a normal program, maybe something like a batch file. Have a look through the services in msconfig, but be very careful with services, err on the side of caution.
