Vista hangs at loading bars during boot

Good morning all!
I was hoping for a little advice from everyone here on my computer. I don't know the exact specs since it is a custom build but it currently has Windows Home 64 bit edition on it. Last night I went to open a game (World of Wraft) and got the blue screen of death. Upon reboot my computer would not boot passed the windows loading bars (the scrolled for several seconds and then the computer screen went blank). I had to hard reboot and it did the same thing where it went to a blank screen after the loading bars and never progressed further.

I attempted to boot in the last known good condfiguration and that did the same thing.

I booted in safe mode and it booted up normally.

I booted from the Windows CD and attempted to repair computer. At the end of the repair it stated that it was unable to repair.

I did a full Windows Vista reinstall and it booted normally after the reinstall. Windows installed several updates and when it rebooted for the updates it went back to hanging on the blank screen after the loading bars.

I booted in safe mode (with networking) and did a full virus/malware scan (nothing found) and updated my graphics card drivers. I rebooted after the graphics card drivers and same issue - hangs on a blank screen after the loading bars.

Sorry for the long post, I didn't want to miss any details! Any help would greatly be appreciated!
