Error I/O 103

I have downloaded a little program to help measure things if need be, It's a ruler. For the first time ever.... when I went to exit the program, an error message popped-up saying: I/O error 103. I ended up finally having to exit the program through the task manager. Is this ok to do in the future with error messages and can't close. And I would love to dive-in and try a fix this error if it's not something that limited knowledge on computers can handle. Thanks,

Todd

Ah... Thank you, reinstalled the program and I think something was added... "setting.ini. configuration settings 1KB." I think that popped-up with the other files. Anyway, works fine now. Thank you much... always a big help to me. :D

I failed to download this the last time but, not this time... it is being downloaded as I type. I only have D: drive so I'm seeing there's enough room to land it there. If not a good Idea... please let me know. I'm thinking it would be fine though.......

richc46..... Wait a minute... isn't my D: drive just a partition? I only have one hard drive and seen it when I blow the dust out from inside the PC. Hmmmm... any Ideas? About 2 months ago, I made a 3 DVD disk backup. Time for a new one? "ya think"

Normally the D drive is the recovery partition, set up by the computer mfg. It is not suppose to be used for backups. Make a back up of your HD and put it on an external HD, update it once a month or so. If you follow those instructions you can fix just about any problem that you encounter, including a hard drive failure.

Flash drive does not work with system image. If you use paragon, as I suggested, you can use DVD's.
