This stop error means that your NTFS file system is corrupt (damage in the file system, bad hard drive data, corrupt SCSI or IDE drivers or a corrupt ntfs.sys file)
^^ Do not worry about what this means!
Follow the instructions below:
1) Take out your Vista installation Disk. If you ahve one, skip to Step 3, if not, follow Step 2 to make one.
2) You will need another computer or mac for this step. Go to this website, Download: Windows Vista x64 Recovery Disc — The NeoSmart Files, and download the Windows Vista Recovery Disc 32-Bit (x86) Edition, following the instructions at the bottom of that page. Follow the instruction here to burn an .iso to a clean data disk: How to Write ISO Files to CD or DVD. Follow the ISO Recorder Power Toy (Freeware) section only.
3) Put the CD in the disk drive of your BSODing computer and restart the computer. You may have to change the BIOS settings or use the one-time boot menu to access the disk drive. Wait for the CD to load, and put in your keyboard and language settings. On the new Window, click "Repair you Computer" in the bottom left hand corner. If this is your own CD, and "Repair you Computer" is not showing, follow Step 2 anyway.
4) Start-up Repair will probably run. Let it finish. In this new Window, Click on "Command Prompt". When the new black Command Prompt opens, type:
"chkdsk /r"
without the quotes and press enter. Wait for it to finish, exit out of Command Prompt, restart your computer and see if it now works.
