TrustedInstaller.exe

Good Morning,

I was wondering if there was any tool or tweaks to keep TryustedInstaller.exe from taking over the CPU and HDD. On my Computer, this process likes to lag my computer, and take 100% of my CPU and 100% of my HDD usage, so if I want to open anything, it takes like 10 or 20 seconds for the object to open.

TrustedInstaller.exe - Technology Questions

The answer that starts with "First, some background on what TrustedInstaller is..." sounds like a good answer (relevant to Vista logging and trying to find answers for items that come up in "Problem Reports And Solutions"). The one after, about changing its setting from "check for solutions manually" to "ask me to check if a problem occurs" also sounds like a good idea. If anything, it stops Vista from auto-piloting around the computer looking for solutions that Vista never finds anyway.
