Missing older restore points

My restore point function seems to be working fine however I have only a few dates. In reading about this issue I find mention of some box to click to show restore points older than five days. I'm running Vista Business and do not see that selection. I have verified and set 20 gig of 160 gig HD for restore point storage. How do I see or get restore points older than a few days? Thanks for any help.

When you see the dates, on the bottom left, there is a box; show more dates.

HI RIch.............you have helped me befor, thanks. But, on my page with a few dates I have nothing bottom left (or right) that allows me to check "see older points".....I have read that befor on other posts but sure not that way with my Vista Business version. You might recall I recently did a full HD re-install. Could it be possible be that when there are no older dates this option is not showen? Help!

Older points are deleted when new points are made, if there is no room left. Are you allocating enough space on your HD for the points?

Automatic points are scheduled once a week. That is all you will find unless you did it manually, too.

Just a guess, but I think that box should always be there.

Rich..........my machine creates a restore point every 24 hrs, not once a week. Also, I have attached a screen shot of my restore page, clearly there is no box always there. I will count this as solved, let my machine do it's thing for a week or so and keep researching. Thanks for your best shot..............Marv

If you do nothing, to cause additional points, make changes, download do it manual. It will make the points only once a week.
