    HDMI

I have a problem, I have an HP laptop, a Pavillion dv9000. I recently got an hdmi cable to connect it to my tv. I was able to get it to work the first time, but subsequently when I've tried my mouse cursor disappears. I can still toggle icons and such using the keyboard but it's a pain. any thoughts on why this is happening or what to do to fix it?
    many thanks.

    Re: HDMI

How did you get it to work? Did you set it up as another monitor? What video card do you have (e.g. NVIDIA 8600M GT)?

I got it to work the first time by just restarting the computer over and over and eventually i had my mouse back but I don't want to do that every time i want to use it...

How did you set the laptop to output to the tv? Did you use the windows option in control panel, or did you do it through NVIDIA?

And you didn't change anything when you eventually got your mouse back?
