Is the display suppose to turn off during stage 5 of chkdsk? There hasn't been display for 6 hours and I don't know if chkdsk is almost done or not.

Hello Rah914,
After the Chkdsk has finished the PC should reboot to the OS. If the screen is blank then it would seem there is a problem.
Reboot and open a command prompt as administrator and type sfc/scannow press enter and let it scan, if errors are found you will have to run it again until clean.

I have ran it twice and both times it said.
Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them.
Details are included in the CBS.Log windir\Logs\CBS\CBS.log. For example
C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CBS.log
When I try opening the log it says Access Denied.

Run it a few more times, just to see if it can cleanup the file system.
