If you can boot to safe mode.. can you download and run malware bytes?? and see if there is anything..

Also did you mentioned your wirekless is not connecting?? If so try the below steps
To resolve this problem follow the steps below:

1. Click the Start menu, in Start Search, type "cmd" (without quotation
marks),
right-click on cmd.exe and click Run as
Administrator.
2. Run the following commands pressing Enter after each one.

netsh winsock reset catalog
netsh int ipv4 reset reset.log
netsh int ipv6 reset reset.log

3. Restart the computer to apply the settings to the system.

Hello mannbik, welcome to Vista Forums!

The first best thing to do if you can get into safe mode is to download and install the free version of Malwarebytes then run a full scan with it, it may take a couple scans to get everything cleaned up; at the link below.

Malwarebytes Free Virus Scanner

MS One Care is no longer supported by Microsoft and therefor unreliable; most of the people that hang here and at the new Windows 7 Forums are now using the new, free offering from MS called Microsoft Security Essentials and it's getting good reviews, it can be found at the link below.
