Emergency Help

Hello,

I have an Acer laptop with Vista 64bit (no idea about home, premium or ultimate edition).

It was having lot of useless softwares. I uninstalled unwanted and tried to clean registry with the help of registryMechanic. While scanning it took lot of time to scan Wow6432node. Because it was Wow6432node/Wow6432node/Wow6432node/Wow6432node, i came across that keeping one (prime key) and deleting rest (sub-keys) is safe.

Mistakenly I tried to delete prime key. However, it showed error to delete entire key.

But it is not getting started since then. It actually boots but nothing appears (blank screen with mouse cursor) after blue-round vista logo.

What are my options to restore the system???

vista recovery console? will it be ok after doing recovery process??

Thanks for you help in advance.

Try restarting your computer and before the Windows starts press F8
It should take you to a screen that will let you start in safe mode with networking.
If it starts type System Restore into the start search box.
Restore your computer to before you started deleting things.
