red screen on start up

Hi i have vista home premum 64 when i switch it on it flashes a red screen for a few seconds Thanks

I'm a bit confused at the moment

Are you saying that...

When I turn on the computer, I see the compaq logo for few seconds and then it boots into windows? Correct?

If thats what you are talking about, then that's not a problem. Most computers do that, it shows the computer brand and the bios

Try look at other threads, they put a lot of time, putting a lot of detail and information for people to understand the problem.

Computer specs?
How long have you bought the system?
Have you re-installed the system before?
Anti-virus?
Latest Service-Pack?
Adding and removing hardware and compoments?
Adding and removing software and drivers?
Possibly a video (eg. upload onto Youtube and put link onto post)?
