Laptop Screen Scrambled

For the past 5 days or so, the screen on my laptop gets scrambled after being on for a few hours. What happens is, the taskbar goes to the top of the screen, desktop background becomes black mostly except for the bottom edge, desktop icons appear on top of the windows-nothing overlays properly, all the windows flash all over the place on top of each other, and while it's doing all of this, I can't even click on anything or access task manager by clicking Ctrl-Shift-Esc or Ctrl-Alt-Del so I can end a process. All I can do to get out of this, is, turn my computer off and restart my computer or press the power button to turn off my computer, then right before it turns off, I click the Cancel Button that appears in the middle of the screen that appears showing you what programs you need to close out before shutting down the computer-that's all I can do. After I click the cancel button, everything is straightened out, but the windows have switched back to Windows Vista Basic.

The first time it done this, I restarted my computer, and when it restarted, my computer automatically chose to perform a disc check on its own and it deleted a corrupt file or something like that-I can't remember exactly.

My laptop has never done this before no matter how much I've got going on in my computer, but this is happening even with just one internet explorer window open-it doesn't matter what or how much things I have opened up.

Things I have done to fix this:

1) I've ran a full disk check-the one that goes through all 5 stages.

2) Checked display adapter in device manager-it's working properly.

3) In command prompt-SFC/scannow

Do you have any anti-virus programs installed?
Have you done a malware scan? Malwarebytes
Have you started a disc scan
Go to computer. right click the drive with your operating system on,Tools,
schedule a disc check for next start and include the option to scan and repair bad sections.
Post back your outcome.

Edit: note there is a space before / in sfc /scannow

Oh, I forgot to mention that I performed a full virus scan with System Suite 10 and everything was OK. I did perforn the full disc scan and it went through all 5 stages, as I had mentioned above.

I Found this thread for you. It explains how to strip out the stuff that is not needed.
That will make it smaller and should go through.

I was able to zip it, but it just will not upload-it's only 2.02 MBs. Anyway, I've uploaded it to SkyDrive and I'm going to provide the link to (My Zipped CBS log from SkyDrive below):

Tell me if you can download it from there.

I tried it again and waited and I still get the message, "Upload of file failed."

I did change the link to the Zipped CBS Log-SkyDrive in my post above. See if it works again. Did you double click and then double click again? Then, there should be a little window that asks you whether you want to open or save it. I've got it set to where it is shared with "Everyone". Although, I admit, this is the first time I have done this.

Thanks

Nevermind, it looks like you were able to view it. I was a few minutes late when posting this. I'll try running SFC/ scannow again, but it has always said that it has found corrupt files and was unable to fix some of them. And, I always follow up with a full 5 stage disk check, but those corrupt files never get completely fixed because when I run SFC/ scannow afterwards, it says the same thing again.

The sfc check did fix some of the errors. I would run it again
I agree. Sometimes you need to run this tool several times in order for it to fix everything (or what it is able to). This is because there might be multiple errors, the correction of which depends on the correction other errors.

@John/Shawn: I tried to upload the .zip file here, but got the same upload failed message. At 2.2MB, it is well within the 10.0MB file size limit.

I have reported this issue.

Not sure which of your anti-virus programs is fake, but it looks like System Suite 10 is fake. Malwarebytes should remove these.once they are removed make a new restore point and remove all your other restore points as they will be infected as well.
